Hi. I got by brand-new pre-release Flyer about a week ago and I've been
rendering an Anim on it for about that time. Anyway, when I went to the
NewTek/Toaster drawer, there were icons for Lightwave and Modeller (and
.FP versions). Double-click on'em, and LW comes up. Click ANYWHERE, and
the program abruptly exits. I've also tried making icons for LW and
Modeller when I got 3.5, but the same thing happened. I'm assuming the
Icons are kinda an after thought and only REALLY work in LW SA, so if I
plug a dongle in, it should work fine.
It would be nice if 4.0 let you run LW without booting the Toaster first
(but still making sure a Toaster is there) so you could render and get a
few more megs of RAM by leaving the Toaster off. Just a thought...
